Richie LemlihTravel Trade manager
After a Bachelor degree and post graduate studies in Business Administration with a major in Hospitality and Tourism Management Rachid ‘Richie’ Lemlih embarked on an experience spanning over 20 years in the inbound travel industry in the USA, working with North American destinations and international tour & travel operators. Since joining LREF he has worked with the rest of the LRE team on establishing an international Travel Trade strategy with at its heart the historic route taken by the Allied Forces in the years leading to the end of WW2. Working with regional and national tourism boards along the route, tour operators, destination management companies, museums, tour guides and historic sites, we aim to create sustainable and meaningful travel experiences and reach a wider and diverse audience as we approach the 75th anniversary of the end of WW2 and beyond.
Connecting people and preserving memories along the route taken by the Allied Forces culminating in the end of WW2 is a commendable initiative. It is a great pleasure and an honor to be part of LREF and lead the travel trade segment of its activities. Through our LRE Travel Trade efforts we participate in keeping the memories of events and sacrifices along the route in our collective consciousness for generations to come
