The printed exhibition created for the EYES project consists of a selection of ten biographies and will be shown in five cities of our EYES partners. In order to share with you even more articles prepared in the frame of EYES project, the Liberation Route Europe Foundation created a digital exhibition where 25 biographies are published. At the moment the French and English versions are available, those in Italian, Dutch and German will follow.
In this exhibition, you will learn about the stories of young men and women who personally witnessed the Second World War. Some were members of the resistance, others operated tanks, some were nurses taking care of the wounded while others were wounded themselves. Some of them are still alive today while others died during the war. All of them faced difficult choices and saw their lives change dramatically.
